Clayton "Chance" Heberling:  

After half a lifetime traveling around the world first as an Army Brat and the with the Navy I decided in 1980 to settle down.I came home after I got out and for a short time in 1979 worked for CCISD and Palmer's. I went to college in Wisconsin and now hold a Bachelor's in International Relations and Political Science, a Master's in Teaching, and a Master's in Education. Not bad for a high school dropout. Our teachers would be surprised to know that I have been teaching Middle School now for the past 23 years and I am currently teaching in Killeen. I owe a lot to Ms. Swindle, my third grade teacher at Fairview Elementary. Got an interesting story about a "literal run in" with her when I was home in 79'. I have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. I am currently doing the single dad gig with the two youngest. The "Chance" handle was given to me by my buddies.
